Quantum University to Use Laser Therapy Equipment Donation from Multi Radiance Medical in Pain Management Education Module
March 29, 2018 – (SOLON, Ohio) – Leading therapeutic laser developer and manufacturer Multi Radiance Medical (MRM) recently donated multiple units of laser therapy equipment to Quantum University, the world’s largest provider of online education and certification in integrative medicine fields.
The university plans to use the donation in its new course on pain management with instructor Robert Childs, MD. Additionally, interested students will be able to explore the modality in future internship programs.
At Quantum University’s October 2017 World Congress, attendees got hands-on experience with MRM technology at a laser therapy talk presented by Mario Viscarra, DDS. After the demonstration, students expressed great interest in the pain relieving capabilities of laser therapy.
“Students found laser to be the perfect addition for pain control and they wanted to explore it more in a clinical setting,” commented Cynthia Bartlett, Quantum University Operations. “Quantum University believes in keeping an open access to new modalities and we want to explore technologies that students want to add to wellness clinics and private practice.”
The donation will help expand the skill sets of Quantum University students, many of whom are already established doctors and clinicians looking to further their knowledge of integrative and natural medicine.
“Incorporating laser therapy into Quantum University’s education module will allow students to better serve the needs of their current and future patients,” MRM CEO Max Kanarsky said.
